Usage is measured in weighted tokens: input, cached, and output tokens each carry a published weight, multiplied by a per-model multiplier. The multiplier is recorded at the moment of the request and never recalculated afterwards, so a later price change cannot rewrite what you were charged. Every response carries the counts it was billed on in its headers, and your dashboard shows the same numbers.
A subscription grants a monthly allotment of weighted tokens. Usage is drawn from the allotment first, then from any credits you hold. Allotment does not roll over; purchased credits do not expire while your account is open.
If our metering fails on a request (the provider returns no usage data, or data we cannot parse), you are not charged for it. That request is our loss, and we do not go back and bill you once we have fixed the fault.
Refund policy
- Unused credit packs are refundable in full within 30 days of purchase. Credits already spent on served requests are not refundable, because the underlying capacity has been bought and consumed.
- You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep your allotment until then. We do not charge a cancellation fee and we do not pro-rate a partial month.
- If the API is unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours in a billing period, write to us and we will credit that period pro-rata. You should not have to argue for this.
Email support@tium.ai from the address on your account. Refunds go back to the original payment method, normally within ten business days.
Prices may change. Existing subscribers keep their price for the current period and get 30 days' notice before a renewal at a new one; credits you have already bought are unaffected.
